It's a long shot but does anyone know of any accommodation between Sam Neua and Phonsavan? I am planning cycling and would prefer to avoid camping if possible. I think there are guest houses in Muang Kham, but is there any more around? I have heard that there is maybe a guest house at Nam Noen, can anyone confirm this?

If there is no guest houses, what is the low down on camping in the area? Is it safe from the UXO? Has anyone camped here?
