Hey guys,

I am planning a trip to southern Laos/Vietnam in 2 months, probs Feb for 1 month. Has anyone got any updated information on the route from Tha Khaek into Vietnam on highway 8? Is the road any good? Is there any accommodation along the way? I am especially interested in accommodation in Lak Sao. Any advice from anyone cycled it recently would be cool.
