Where are the best maps available for southeast Asia? I want online and real maps. Can anyone give a link to some online stuff and does anyone know where I can buy some decent maps in Bangkok? Thanks

Sorry, I can't help you about online maps ...
But any decent bookshop in Thailand - usually has a good selection of maps of SE Asia.
I particulary prefer the 'Nelles Map' brand because of their attention to detail and topography features ... it's good to see where the mountains are! I purchased two 'Nelles maps' of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and a Thailand one from King Power bookshop at Suvarnabhumi Airport for a reasonable 195 baht each.

1. The nelles maps are highly recomemnded. 2. Maps and guidebooks by David Unkovich are also highly recommended. He is a biker and has has travelled extensively in Thailand, Laos. Here is his website link http://www.gt-rider.com/index.html3. If you are travelling in Malaysia, there are plenty of good Malaysian road maps selling at most petrol stations. regards acid
